What about the flight planning system that was announced in the dev block? What’s the current status? I would love to have it in the game.

What do you mean with flight planning system? The new scheduling system? Due to #28 Updates, New Features, and the Road Ahead - #Devblog - World of Airports forum i think this is in development and maybe will released in one of the next updates this year….

I’m still bummed stand you can’t park B planes anymore at F10 and F11 simultaneously anymore. Maybe we could consider making the SF340 an A plane as it’s the only one that parks there and its wingspan is closer to a DHC6 than a DHC8 or ATR
Also thank you for the bridge fix at GRU. I was waiting for that one. Still missing the stand 303L though to allow C planes to park there

Awesome, the developers have worked hard.
One can’t just change the size of a plane because they want to. The size classification is now based on systems used in real life and because class A planes consist of aircraft with a wingspan smaller than 15 meters, with the wingspan of the SF34 being 21,4 meters, it obviously doesn’t work.
I understand what you mean but I’m going to be frank here, some planes aren’t categorized correctly according to that table. That’s why I suggested it.
While the new parking sizes have been updated, which I agree with, it has brought a lot of limitations to stand allocations for certain aircraft. But I know there’s also room for growth and improvement and maybe one day that will be considered in the future.
Well that one is. We should instead suggest things to be categorized correctly, not falsefully?? Also prevents future suggestions of such in the future.
Well it wasn’t my intention to falsely categorize. I was going about my impression of how the devs categorized them now, which I can see I shouldn’t assume.
But I was just thinking of it in the sense of better enhancement and optimization of the games capabilities.
I’m not trying to randomly suggesting things just for the heck of it

What at first glance looks like a simple Excel sheet has, in reality, driven our developers to the edge of insanity.
We went far beyond the point where we asked ourselves whether it even made sense or would deliver the expected results.
But—the system draft is done. It’s now undergoing fine-tuning, and the next step is developing the user interface (UI).
We have a rough idea of how it should look (as shown in the screenshots shared a few weeks ago), but we still need to verify whether the functions and logic actually fit within this UI concept.
Still under development. Stay tuned.

It’s actually a conversion issue. When the A-B flight number is XX123, where B refers to the airport we are playing at and A is the airport where we purchased the plane contract Or player A’s airport.
When from launch to takeoff, the flight should change to XXFrom launch to takeoff, (B-A)the flight should change to XX122/4. The system limitation can be achieved by not wanting to manually adjust the flight number.
Of course, the schedule he referred to may have the form of levels, which is indeed a heavy workload and hard work.

TBH I didn’t really understand your point but I do want to understand it cause I feel like the scheduling system can be such an intriguing feature.
I think after it’s released, ideas can come floating in from fellow members to help enhance it’s capability.
