I’d also love to organize a series of “mini fan meetups” at our in-game airports.
The first phase would focus on European locations — followed by American airports depending on the level of interest, we could then continue with additional locations later on.

It’s amazing! Especially for the ground equipments! I wish the physics of both aircrafts and ground equipments and be more accurate with updates, planes will turn smooth and slow, push back need more space to “straight” the path, and thrust need a bit of time to build up. But still, great job and wish all the best to WOA!

Plans Beyond WoA

By the end of this year, we’d like to release our side project ScrapIT — a small, casual game that’s already nearing completion and has been developed alongside World of Airports.

At the same time, we’re slowly starting a new project that goes back to the roots of civil aviation, and it will include a completely new version of AirportPRG as part of it.

Is one of those 4 Airports being developed in Africa? Africa seems to be the forgotten continent, or are we just going to get a generic airport maybe one day just to say there is an Airport in Africa? 3 Airports in North America, 2 in Soith America, 1 in the Caribbean, 4 in Europe, 1 in the Middle East, 3 in Asia including the generic, 1 in Australasia. Now we get another one in the far east…meanwhile here in Africa…plenty of fantastic airports…not in the game though…why? Is it because connections are a problem? I mean Cairo or Addis Ababa are not far from Muscat, Bari, Prague, Innsbruck or Heathrow? I would understand if the issue was Johannesburg or Cape Town but how are they actually so different from Sydney as a connection with Nagoya, Bangkok, San Diego, Muscat as examples?

We’re gradually reworking taxiway layouts at existing airports to prepare them for multi-directional operations and shared stands. Alongside that, we’ll be updating some airports

Can’t wait for this, even if it’s small additions like missing stands at SXM
