Well I’m not going to repeat what was said on the Dev Blog. But suffice to say from a mod (and player standpoint) it’s been a hell of a year.I would argue the best yet in the 5 year history of the game.
Like many, I was here almost at the start. Limited Octagon shaped aircraft, 4 airports, if you fell asleep playing the game you would be stuck in a hole that you it seemed it would take forever to get out of. 1-1 connections only. Not that many destinations and while there were good things (for us) selling planes for gold. Dancing planes, spinning planes. Stuck planes. The list went on…
But you know what. Devs stuck with it. Found better tech and their professionalism really shows now, this is as good as any game out there and without the backing of a major studio. It’s truly an impressive achievement what they have built.
A community spirit, players helping players. A lot less bugs and revamping everything from top to bottom over time and we are going into 25 with high hopes.
Have to remember not everything happens or happens immediately. Can’t take words as absolute, it doesn’t work that way.
That said, I love this game, I know myself and ukplanespotter757 in particular enjoy the ins and outs of the forum (if you would just stop fighting from time to time), and that’s a credit to everyone here.

If you had a lot of money at IAD, you could make hundreds of GP by buying and immediately selling Atr72s. Who knows how much that would be abused nowadays!

Happy Christmas, knowing that my local airport will be closed on the 25th (only security) I’ve gotten permission to visit DUB (both inside and airside) sadly I’m not allowed to take any pics while I’m here (If i was allowed I will definitely put it here) Special thanks to @carlsberg72 and (new lad in the mod club) @ukplanespotter757 for moderate the fourm it won’t look the same without these 2 lads. @Torontoplanespotter, @Jamesonplanes, @Xantriiiiii, @Thatflyerguy, @LeChonk, @Thruii, @L1ttleH2009, @AviationA340-500 and everyone else (some people since I can’t fit everyone in) have an amazing Christmas and 2025 will be an even better year for WOA!

Your work has made this game something that us, people on the discord, forum members, and all fans alike, can build a community around. This game means something special to each and every one of us.
