Will the different engine/winglets varients be “different” models (like A330RR and A330PW) or will we have soe option to choose the type of engines and winglets (I heard that the devs worked on this possibility once but haven’t heard anything about it since)?
To temper expectations. My understanding is they won’t all be rolled out in one update. At least that’s what I heard last time it was brought up,
I’m thinking (and this has not been confirmed by the devs to me) that the replacements for the 319 and 320 will come first. 318 and 321 will come after. This aircraft update is so big I just can’t see them doing it all in one go.
Also just to replace what we have is 94 liveries without any additions. In perspective the A350 was 47

This is also before anything for the 318, or 321 or any other versions and even the replacement ones have to be done from scratch.
So considering the A350 livery painting phase to release took roughly a month (going off the times that they were showed) and the 320 has more than twice as many, we’re most likely looking at more than two months to first release.
You may be right, but also remember, there were so many bugs(including the camera one😭) that needed to be fixed between 2.2.2 and 2.2.3, so that consumed time too
They have designated modelers and coders, it’s not just a free for all.
They were not done by the same people

That’s a ton of work for just one model. Unless they have some plan, the whole family would probably take until summer to do. But we’ll see what happens I guess.

Yea I have no issues whatsoever with them coming in parts. Just stating that if the devs say one update in the email I would rather believe that.

It will be a while yet, plenty of work still to be done before that point. I’d give it at least 3 weeks if not more.
could they not post liveries 1 at a time? as in once they complete 1 livery they post it, then etc

Nope, they have never done it that way and I doubt they will start now, they like to release everything worked on for a specific model.
The word for this game and any kind of update is patience…
