Current as of WoA 3.1.0

Overview

The Boeing 787 was the first new aircraft added after the game released, coming less than a month later. It was the 787-9 specifically, and it was only at version 1 standard. There were no changes made to the family until 2.1.0, in mid 2024, when the 789 was remodeled to 3rd generation standard and its two stablemates, the 788 and 78X, were added at the same level of quality.

Variants

Boeing 787-8 (B788)
Boeing 787-9 (B789)
Boeing 787-10 (B78X)

There is one unobtainable livery among the 787 family, and that is the Flyboys Orca livery, which has not appeared since it was added, and indeed may never have been added. That livery was the only one to have not been posted to the forum when 2.1 released, which makes it seem like maybe they never updated the livery onto the third-generation model.
