AirportPRG takes players back to the early days of commercial aviation, set at Prague’s Ruzyně Airport during its formative years. As the airport manager, you’ll oversee operations in a time when aviation was just taking off – from coordinating arrivals on grass runways to managing growing passenger demands in a rapidly evolving industry.
A Historical Perspective
The game captures the unique challenges of running an airport in the 1930s and 1940s. Players manage limited resources, guide classic aircraft, and handle passengers in an era without modern technology. Every detail, from the architecture of the terminals to the design of vintage planes, has been recreated with historical accuracy to provide a glimpse into the golden age of aviation.
A Tribute to Aviation’s Roots
AirportPRG is our tribute to the pioneers of aviation and the evolution of airports. For us, it’s not just a game but a way to connect with the history of flight and share that experience with fellow enthusiasts. As you grow your airport and witness its transformation, you’ll gain an appreciation for how far the aviation world has come.
Not sure if this has previously been discussed on here, but the developer replied to a review that I left 2 years ago on the App Store for AirportPRG where I was requesting that automatic routing be brought back to the game.
They had changed the mechanics at the time from automatic routing to making you hand draw the path the planes had to take from the edge of the plane handling area to their parking spots. It changed the game so much that I completely stopped playing it. Their recent response to my review was to solicit input on this forum to see how much interest there was in bringing back automatic routing.
Please let me know what all of your thoughts are, and hopefully the developers see it and bring it back! I’ve been waiting forever to be able to get back into the game.
I’m in the same boat as you I’m afraid, no clue how to move it over to the correct category as it only seems to have a thread for announcements to be posted in. No general discussion category has been made for AirportPRG, and I don’t have permissions to make new subcategories for a new general discussion.
Another example is the entirety of general discussion being its own subcategory, and not under the World of Airports part of the forum.
