What is this?
The Real-Life Routes & Operations Database is a centralized, community-maintained reference for realistic flight operations in World of Airports. It documents real-world passenger routes, airlines, aircraft types, flight numbers, terminals, and stands for a growing number of airports — all in one place.
Whether you want to recreate an accurate hub operation, fly the right airline on the right route, or simply explore what really flies where, this database is built for you.
What’s inside?
For each covered airport, the database provides:
- Airlines & Destinations — every active, seasonal, and announced routes
- Aircraft Types — all known variants flown on the route
- Operational Status — Active, Seasonal, Announced, Suspended, or Discontinued
- Frequency — how often the route operates
- Terminals & Stands — where available, indicating which terminal and/or stand each airline operates from. Coverage varies by airport — some are fully documented, others partially or not yet filled in.
- Representative Flight Numbers — the most commonly operated callsign per route
- Notes — seasonal date ranges, codeshares, wet leases, and other relevant details
How to use:
- Read-only: Please do not edit this shared sheet directly.
- For personal use: Go to File → Make a copy (Google Sheets) or Download to get your own editable version.
- Service in Use column: This column is yours — use it to track which aircraft and routes you personally operate in your own game.
How it connects to the Wiki
Each covered airport has its own dedicated thread here on the forum (
Wiki Directory), maintained as part of the Real Routes Wiki. These threads present the same data in a readable, formatted table — ideal for quick reference while playing.
The Google Sheets database is the living source: it is updated more frequently and contains more detail than the forum posts. The wiki threads are synchronized regularly from the database.
Data quality & sources
The data is compiled from publicly available sources. Routes are cross-referenced across multiple sources before being added.
Aviation is always changing — routes launch, suspend, and end constantly. While we do our best to keep everything accurate and up to date, the data is provided as-is. No guarantees of completeness or accuracy can be made.
Found an error or outdated route?
Please report it — every correction genuinely improves the database for everyone.
