They forget always 22-04 for general aviations and sometimes other traffic for example klasjet b735 for football players.
Its not your fault it isnt in your picture but that tool never show 22-04 when open

I believe, if you have planes land from the south on 2 runways, then they have less taxi time and will be able to get to gates quicker, but then departures will take longer especially for the polderbaan
Planes at A/B/C piers should use RWY36R for arr and RWY36C for dep
Planes at D/E/F piers should use RWY06 for arr and RWY 36L for dep
The Devblog with Generic Airports announcements really got the hype going but we havenāt heard about it in a while, would be nice to receive an update about it or something
Thatās one of the proposed designs from 2017 - before the whole terminal plan was halted because of Covid. New plans for Terminal Zuid (South) are still being developed, but unlikely to be confirmed before the end of this year. Only confirmed plan for that area so far is the new baggage basement.
There was news last night that Schiphol is going to build a new terminal.
B pier is already being build, like for a long time. The new terminal was always planned and the foundation for it is there if iirc
Yup, the B-gates are indeed there. A-gates still a work in progress. Should be ready in April 2027.
The construction of a new terminal building in that area has been pushed back several times. Latest status from Schiphol Group can be found here (https://www.schiphol.nl/en/projects/all-schiphol-projects/terminal/)
The image that was shared before was one of the 5 concepts from the 2017 tender. But as of last Tuesday there wasnāt confirmation of it being built yet. Only that it was āalmost certainā: Strategisch masterplan Schiphol: nieuwe terminal bijna zeker | Luchtvaartnieuws
o sorry I meand the A gates, lel
I think they are still building the hangar with office space for KLM and transavia at schiphol
Soooo in the most recent interview (Heroes on Air on YT) it has been mentioned by Kuba that the next airport would most likely be in Europe.. With the arrival of the Transavia Retro livery, the Fokker aircraft and AMS having the most votes (outside of Asia region) in this topic⦠Could it be? :)))
It wonāt be AMS, but rather Zurich.
The next airport is sadly not AMS (we are getting another cool airport tho), but we all still hope to see AMS in the future ofc ![]()
Maybe in the next Christmas who knows. Nobody predicted HKG correctly before they announced that.
It is one I believe the devs are interested in, but it likely would be huge and bin a chunk of players on older devices. Would love to see the overwing jetbridges, I think itād make it a very unique experience, even if theyāre now all gone but thatās the brilliance of a game, you can make it how you want
. Itās also a very large cargo and pax hub so is great for players who prefer one over the other.
donāt think the devs would model overwing jetbridges if theyre not there
I do know that the devs would also love to see AMS in the game but this is the case with a lot of airports ofc. So lets be patient and hope for the best!
I donāt think AMS is possible with current technology because of the polderbaan
Not just that but a lot of gate allocations will be off.
A lot of their gates are type limited
For example gates D2/3/4/10/43 are all able to handle E class planes but up to the A330, the 77W is too long and the wingspan is a bit to wide for them
Thatās also the case at some E gates
So the current stand system needs a small update which I think would benefit the entire game
