There’s a difference thought between a flight which nearly falls into long haul and flights between the continents but fall under short haul. Lagos to Bari is in no way similar to London to Casablanca.
I’m simply using it as an example, an E295 can fly some distance for a regional jet, but your example of Africa to Europe is vague, and given we are talking about Air Peace exclusively here, I’m trying to say they can’t do Lagos to Bari, but the E-Jets do have the range to do routes like London to Casablanca, which is also an Africa to Europe route. Just because it’s a route from Africa to Europe, it doesn’t mean it can be done because some regional jets do shorter routes between the two continents, like Royal Air Maroc and their E190s.
