Are planes specific to Airports?

Hi All. Newbie here. My son (7) started the game because he’s really into planes. Of course he likes landing and parking them and it appears I do all the rest. I’ve got into it however and really enjoy it.

We started at Innsbruck and I’m at level 12. He then got Nagoya and we’ve progressed to level 37 but I wanted a dual runway so we got Heathrow. I’ve found it easier to progress with dual runway and were at level 66. Of course he wants Concorde so that’s the current aim.

But my question - he loves the Baluga, which is available at Nagoya as a contract on a much higher level. Can you only “get” a baluga contract once one has been unlocked somewhere, and similarly can you only get a baluga from certain airports? If I look at WoApedia the AS3T Airbus 3 is “unlocked” but I can’t find a contract to buy anywhere, and from LHR Toulouse is only showing Small and Medium passenger planes in the world contracts map, no L or X and no freight at all.

Any help appreciated in understanding the intricacies of these things!

A3STs are only event or reward contracts, reward contracts cannot be transferred between airports. But one key thing id suggest is getting LEJ, in the 80 GP pass you can get a A3ST for your own fleet and choose where it goes. Hope this helps!

All three generic beluga can be gathered in one of 2 ways

  1. Most airports with L and X cargo capabilities do have reward contracts through the levels, and I beleive all 3 beluga are included across the game, alongside the an 225 being available at some airports through the same means as well
  2. Random events, sometimes all 3 will show up at one airport (most recent time was at Heathrow a little less than a month ago I beleive)

However, you can also get the beluga as a fleet plane but only through the Leipzig premium pass, and nowhere else
