Using ICAO 3 letter callsign instead of IATA 2 letter/number
How would it work in the game?
Would identify the aircraft by the ICAO callsign which is the official format used by ATC worldwide
Why is this a good idea?
Currently, the format in game is using the IATA two digit code for airlines which already has an issue that will pronounce the number in the IATA code which shouldn’t be pronounced. Also certain IATA codes are shared between 2 or more airlines, whereas ICAO codes are specific to one airline and ICAO codes do not include numbers.
Also certain countries now use Letters in the callsigns I.E. KLM67E
