New functionality including maintenance area, new ground equipement Tow-Truck, stand assignment
How would it work in the game?
It is kind of a big idea to implement in one go but imagine :The big part would be a maintenance area with new stands, we could move aircrafts over there when they need maintenance (small or big), with the help of tow-trucks, new ground equipment, those could also be used to pushback airplanes, adding a new ground equipement management like the use of bagages trucks, fuel trucks etc…
The small part includes stand assignement changes
Planes could be assigned to those extra stands when waiting for a contract, stands would work for both maintenance and storage
Those new stands can not be used for handling, only for storage or maintenance duties
For small airports where there isnt a lot of space, like INN or SXM, we would just keep it the old way and service the aircraft on the spot or send it away for the large check
Why is this a good idea?
New functionality, new ground equipement, extra management of fleet and ground support, more realism
