:bullseye: What is your suggestion?

  1. Have B planes line up at intersection/taxiway B
  2. have stand 4 accommodate C planes as well

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
would be the same as using other gates/taxiways but just maximizing their potential

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
Adds realism as this is how it is in real life

intersection departure for B planes

gate 4 C planes

The devs might also not want this or agree with it but almost all D/E planes exit at intersection/taxiway D

Maybe a suggestion to let them exit so in the game as well.
Would not only be realistic but may help with the longer taxi times on arrival helping speed up the airport

Allow F planes to use the next exit (E)

I think they alternate, they don’t always go out there.

Well I’ve looked at quite a few flights and 9 out of 10 of them exit at D especially the 767, so it wouldn’t hurt to re-evaluate it

Just watching PRG atm,

Seems C Class occasionally use that take off point too.

Yea I noticed that too but I felt, asking for C planes to also take off from there would be a bit overboard

Another suggestion

Finally experiencing 06 RWY operations and I must say I love it a lot more than 24
However I notice the path finding way is not what I had actually expected
I thought B planes would also exit on the earliest possible exit, like with RWY24

Unlike with RWY 24, B (and C) class planes exit farther down the runway via B
Especially for stands 50-53, they taxi through a longer taxi pathway

Planes parking at stands 1-12 do exit earlier off on J

My suggestion would be to have all B planes parking at these stands:

To exit via L but when a conflicting plane is taxiing to RWY 06 to have the planes hold short at the stops (circled green below) and give way to them

And when B/C planes are taxiing to stands 50-53

Have them also hold short at the stops (circled green below) to give way when another traffic is taxiing to the RWY

I do think this will have a more efficient runway occupancy and taxi paths to the stands
And will also utilize the hold short/stop positions on the apron.
