What is your suggestion?
Your plane finishes boarding and gets ready to go but it’s a tad on the chilly side so de-icing is a must, so along come the lorry’s and they spray the plane and yay away we go. But then you run into the queue for the runway as the ATC has been prioritising landing again. You sit and wait, slowly building up more ice on your wings as the fluid starts to disappear and uh oh, it’s time to reapply the de-icer otherwise your plane will become a rather large explosive car when it can’t leave the runway. ATC suddenly remembers it has to actually take planes off but now has to get them back to de-icing so they’ll have to turn around and send them back to the de-icing pads.
How would it work in the game?
A button will appear as per current ones commanding you to send the aircraft to the de-icing pad.
Why is this a good idea?
What improvement would this bring? Better usability, realism, fun factor, accessibility?It’d bring more realism as this has to happen irl if the aircraft has been forced to lurk for too long. It would also really annoy people who hate de-icing
