[ATC] - Separate Pushback and Runway Crossing Controller

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?
Don’t use a single ground controller for pushbacks and runway crossings.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
Add a new controller or move runway crossings to the approach/departure controller.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
At single runway airports, you might want to do landings only with no pushbacks to land the maximum planes possible in the shortest time. Then you bulk pushback and close the airport to get rid of the planes.

GRU needs to be played the same way to be efficient, but you can’t. You need the ground controller on to cross the departing runway, but then it also pushes back handled planes and with departures off, they line up and block the planes coming in. A separate controller will let you truly fill the airport while handling planes as they come in.

I got an Mail from Thomas Mordon, more than half year ago, he thought this was a good idea and he will discuss with dev Team, but unfortunately no further response…. There may not be a solution to my suggestion after all.
