What is your suggestion?
I’m actually a bit bothered by the aircraft options that appear when there’s an empty gate that isn’t actually on the schedule; it feels like we’re being directed to assign that aircraft to the empty gate. Why not make the gate options appear only when the gate assigned to that aircraft is actually empty? That way, it would still follow the scheduled plan.
How would it work in the game?
So here’s how it works: Planes A and B are scheduled to park at Stand 1. When Plane A lands and parks at Stand 1, an option for Plane B suddenly appears if another stand is empty. When clicked, it still selects Stand 1 as the default stand. Why not just have it so that after Plane A departs, a notification appears stating that Plane B will arrive at the same stand? Because when I select Plane B to park at another stand—say, Stand 2—Plane C, which is already scheduled to park at Stand 2, suddenly appears. In the end, Plane C has to wait until Plane B at Stand 2 finishes its handling.
Why is this a good idea?
To avoid overloading the stand selection queue
