The idea is great, and the runway choice has already been mentioned.

Ok. Make sense. Anyway we will introduce very soon possibility to choose runway for landing

Changing direction based on wind conditions is certainly a desirable feature, but implementing it would be quite challenging, as it requires an entirely new pathfinding system to support different taxiing directions.
