At LHR,

At FRA,

:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
Applied I believe in 1999 and replaced with the 1990s Austrian livery in 2000, this livery was applied to commemorate the late, great Johann Strauss, who had died 100 years before. It was used extensively by the airline across Europe and the type was a regular into INN so it’s a possibility it flew in there.

Prior to wearing this livery it wore the Millennium livery which could also make for another cool special event. It should be added to provide more unique specials and to commemorate a fantastic composer.

Fun fact, the aircraft still flies with the airline today, now being 30 years old and one oft he oldest passenger aircraft in Europe, being one of two A321’s in Austrian’s 3 -100’s to wear the alternative livery.
