There are multiple hundreds 737 max aircraft flying daily all around the world. Rest assured they’re safe. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to fly. Definitely not here in Europe
Edit: I’ve flown on the Max last year (TUI) and had no problem. Was one of the most comfortable flights I’ve been on
Of more than 1800 MAXes produced, 2 suffered fatal crashes, that’s 0,11%. After the recertification following the MCAS problems fix in 2020, it’s a plane as safe as any.
Anyhow, what happened in 2018 and 2019 should definitely serve as a cautionary tale about what happens if the primary focus of a company - especially one in aviation - shifts from safety and quality to revenue and generating value for shareholders.
It’s an incredibly safe aircraft. With the whole MCAS thing boeing were being absolute idiots. They’re all very safe now. Safer than the drive to DUB! Also one thing about aviation. Never listen to national news about it. They always over dramaticise (don’t even know if thats a word) things. Don’t be worried at all. Its a safe aircraft.
Hey guys, everything starting with WOAfan’s Icelandair A21N belongs in Aviation Talking point. Please no FR24 screenshots unless it’s legit news being shared by pages or sites.
