Aviation Talking Point

Both Kenn Borek’s and North Star’s DC-3 are technically Basler BT-67, so they have undergone a major overhaul including swapping the original piston engines for turboprops and avionics upgrade, but (most of) the airframe is still a DC-3.

Well, CAF still have a B29! Seen FiFi irl! Probably my favourite WWII era aircraft (that’s not a fighter)

On the topic of ww2 planes, my favourite is probably the b-29 as well. Timeless plane with a great design

Isn’t the dc-8 at Oshkosh? or has that already ended, tbh I missed any info on it this year

Does anyone know of or about the radar failure in the UK? Not actually sure what happened, saw quite a few aircraft diverted.

Technical issue with NATS in Surrey I believe. Seemed to break the South East and any aircraft flying through their zone so Manchester was a bit out of commission too.

Didn’t know Ryanair flew to Newquay! Learn something new every day!

Apparently you can get some good deals on that route after doing reaserch.
