Looks like it’ll be D-ABOK if you’re on DE1775.

That’s the flight, FR24 hasn’t got the info on it yet. Wanted D-ABON but at least I got to see her this morning. Got lucky and my hotel room is 6th floor, looking at the departures. Sadly, cause of the wind direction, couldn’t get a good spot for decent side-on photos at the airport.

I was fortunate enough to have ABON on my first 757-300 flight, followed by the recently withdrawn ABOJ for my second. You’ll have the Thomas Cook cabin though, as it seems only the 757s which got the stripes had a cabin refurbishment.

Oooh that should be exciting. Didn’t purchase my seat, hoping they’d give me some nice ones and I got a window seat in row 7 so not too bad. I’ll make sure to take some pictures :joy:

I had 5 on my last flight, I always thought rows 1 to 7 were always Business on Condor? Unless they’ve reduce it with the summer peak over.

You really do realise how long a 757-300 is when you sit towards the front.

Not sure. Gave me the option from row 3 onwards but I wanted to save the €10 and pray . I’m really looking forward to it tbh, with my in flight pork too.

It’s great, I’m surprised to see that few rows of Business, as it was the full cabin on my flight back in June. Either way, you’ll have a great flight as I’ve been really impressed with Condor on both my flights with them.

Looking at all these new suggestion posts kind of made me feel some nostalgia, so for the last couple of days Ive been binge watching old planespotting videos from the 90s, 2000s, and early 2010s(runway action by JustPlanes), and boy do I wish I could be an adult back then because it seemed everything was so much more interesting then it is now. Back when there were concordes, trijets, quadjets, more 747s and a380s, so many different manufacturers and variants for each aircraft, so many interesting and multicolored…

But now, every livery seems eurowhite, every aircraft seems to be a 737, a320, a350 or 777, maybe a crj or an Embraer on a good day. It’s cool to see how much tech has advanced in the last decade, ad the same time there was just something that hit different about those older aircraft. I can just Imagine how nice it would be to plane spot in the late 2000s though at a time where you could see an a380, 747, and md11 side by side…

Thats just my opinion, some may say the technological point of view is better than the aesthetic, but I just wish planespotting in these old eras in something I could have experienced for myself. What do ya’ll think.

Nah, you’re 100% right. Watching the takeoffs at PMI today and was literally waiting for a Volotea A319 at one point due to the myriad of Ryanair and tui 737s, Lauda, eurowings and easyJet a320s. The atrs and crjX of air nostrum were a godsend as well as condors stripey 757s. I miss the days of going on YouTube in 2011 and watching plane vids from 2007 and such. So much more variety and wacky airlines and these 747 classics have really brought that nostalgia flowing back, tho the 757 announcement did that too. Big thanks to Charlie and the team. God I feel old . I’d love for nothing more than some trijet smoke and md80s buzzing around, even for the 717 to get a NG edition, with wacky half thought out liveries with all sorts of colours.

Looks like you ended up with ABOM instead, red stripes one. ABOM and ABOI (blue stripes) are the last 2 757s with stripes in service.
