As someone who goes around Sweden especially the north of Sweden a lot for my holidays flying on one of these would be great just haven’t come round to it
Probably SEA-ORD and then MSP-PDX, and then somewhere on the east coast in spring. Also looking at potentially SEA-SIN-KUL this summer.
Ah you should get on it. Not going to have the chance to fly one of these again. Nothing more beautiful than being given temporary tinnitus from the buzzy turboprops lmao.
Not that i can think of yet, my School is taken 3rd Years to BCN which i have asked them to take image on the flight (not sure if they would) they sould be on an Aer Lingus A320-200 on both flights.
My Girlfriend will be coming home on Friday on a Ryanair 737-800 on a short hop from KIR to DUB.
As for me, definitely wont be jetting off anytime this year, but i may be considering (depending on the price) to go to DLM next summer (eather an Aer Lingus A320-200 or A320NEO or SunExpress 737-800) tho i got other stuff to do first.
I will be going on my first British airways flight and my first flight from T5 when I go to Rome next spring, should be an A320ceo (if it is it will be another first, IAE engined A320)
Planning in two years for my 40th to go back to Vancouver.
Never been, but know a few who have, seems brilliant, ever been to Stanley Park?
The BA flight should go well, if they don’t serve a drink if you ask you’ll probably be able to get water for free.
How come Hawaii and not ATL or MSP where delta has some 717s based? A flight on the Fokker 50 would be epic! Didn’t know Aer Lingus flew to MAN with a 330
lol, that’s like asking, how come Palma De Maorca instead of Manchester or Oxford ![]()
They were doing it as a little gimmick at the end of this month but with my coursework I didn’t have the time or money to spend on the ones I do have the time for. Sucks but alas.
And Delta’s are stupidly expensive on the routes they regularly serve with the 717s or they’re really tough to catch one. Hawaiian seems more fun, was going to try and combine it with ANA’s A380s but not sure now on that front.
Yeah that’d be good, as for delta I’ve really only looked at ATL-AVL which is crazy, $200 for a one way ticket! Domestic US flights are far to expensive.
It was the Delta Atlanta to Charlotte one that did it to me, thought such a short trip on the most used 717 route would be find but no, £260 on skyscanner. Though it is a monopoly for Delta on that route, American for some reason doesn’t compete.
Yeah very odd, as for the fokker50s, saw them i while ago on FR, never looked further though, for 2 a round trip in February from ARN is about £350, would be very cool, might have to save for that. Getting to ARN and getting the timings right is another thing though as it’d have to be a separate booking.
Yeah, the Fokker 50s flights are fairly cheap inter Sweden but it’s getting to Stockholm without the Ryanair abandonment in the middle of nowhere flights for a good price. SAS was trying to charge me £200 return.
Yeah it’s crazy, luckily I can get somewhat of a discount on BA, so might be able to do that, I mean I won’t do it next February, probably 2026 summer or 2027, hope they don’t have retirement plans!
Someone can fact check this but.
Did i caught the same AI 787-8 that was destroyed 2 mouths later in June 2025? This was after i scroll through pictures of my School trip in April this year.
These pictures was taken on the 17th of April 2025 at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
According to Flightradar, AMS was served by VT-ANW on April 17th.
Yeah, saw my first racoon there.
