Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 2001 as Axis Airways and based in Marseille, this airline was a charter operator flying for many airlines in Europe and covering charter routes for smaller travel business’s. It filed for bankruptcy in October 2006 and emerged as ‘New’ Axis Airways, essentially the same company, which continued flying until December 2009 when it collapsed due to decreased flights and higher costs because of the recession.It could make for a cool charter airline in Marseille with the ability to reach all of Europe and potentially to the USA with its 757-200.
