Highly doubt it, as recently discussed in other threads regarding BKK it’s apparently not possible. I guess you could raise the question how do we have Iberia widebodies at LHR though. However, if the CTS-NGO route could take a widebody, that could be a one off work around if the developers decide to do it, should be a similar distance as BKK-KUL which has an A380 contract.

I hope they can find a way to work around it because not having widebody domestic ops at bkk, syd, and ngo especially is really impacting the realism of the game. I still don’t understand how it ā€œisn’t possibleā€ā€¦

There’s always a work around, if they increase demand on some routes we can send our own 777s on domestic flights. :joy:

We got widebodies at SYD though as I got Qantas B744 doing the Perth and Darwin routes.

According to what someone posted in another thread fairly recently, it’s apparently a limitation with the way contracts are done, meaning widebodies can’t go on short flights (with some exceptions it seems). To me it is equally baffling as, if that’s the case, how exactly do we have an A380 between BKK and KUL? Surely an A300 on BKK-HKT can’t be too much different.

It’s possible local airlines have a different system to regional/international airlines to prevent spamming early on. I don’t think it’s possible to send Oman Air L planes to DXB but can get the Emirates A380, BA to MAD is only M but can get the A350 from Iberia, etc.

What your saying makes sense but we have so much local dhl a300 and a330s at Lej so if it’s not a problem there I don’t know how local thai a300/a330s or local Qantas a330s should make a difference…

What ever happened to the Fokker’s they were working on that got showcased on instagram? Not to be that guy… but I’m still way more excited about those than the new 777s that I probably won’t get because of the excessive GP cost.

Oh yea! Forgot about that :joy:
I think its coming out in the January/February time.

I believe they said during the Dev discussions that theyd work on the Fokkers after the 777 update

777x now definitely not coming with this update.

Odd, Kuba said the boring livery 777x would be added at least before the 77x entered service

I found it odd too. had to double check the answer from the q&a, but considering they didn’t mention the 777-9 on their ig post and this answer from the fb group, I think it’s likely it won’t be included sadly. Maybe they had some licensing struggles? idk

And that my friends is why I don’t take Q&A sessions as gospel…
