The Blue Peter special livery for the British Airways 757-200

:link: Optional: Image or Link to Reference

:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
A beautiful livery, painted onto this 757-200 between March 2005 and May 2007 as part of a competition organised by the BBC children’s show Blue Peter which was won by 8 year old Hollie Goodwin. The aircraft in question went on to serve with FedEx where it still operates to this day. It would be a fantastic event livery for LHR on the upcoming, and fantastic looking, 757-200 model. Also, sorry to ukplanespotter757 as I had this livery and a few others ready to go bar the description .

I’ll let it slide this time as it’s a 757…

This is really pretty and it was made by an 8 year old? Woah that really good for that age!

But why does the nose have that black band on it? A lot of the special livery that BA has got that black band, what is it for?

Read this and it appears its due to electrical discharge.

I just don’t understand because it says it was on the 757 and 737s but I’d there reason for the black strip on the nose?
