Why should this livery be added?
56 of these aircraft graced British Airways, serving them from 1983 till they bowed out in 2010. They visited all 4 corners of Europe with regular trips to the major destinations like CDG, AMS, VIE, FRA, LIS and FCO as well as to holiday destinations like Malaga and Barcelona during the busy summer season. They were used for a short time on long haul routes, mainly from Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow to New York, with the Glasgow service continuing to Toronto and the Birmingham service continuing to Boston, but these were ended in 1999, with the MAN-JFK service being replaced with a 763. It was also heavily utilised on inter-UK routes such as Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast during the morning and evening flights back to LHR to connect with the long haul flights.
It would be a real pleasure to see these introduced when the 757 rework is complete and would give players the ability to operate one of the finest aircraft, in one of the finest liveries.
