Biman Bangladesh Airlines received this Boeing 747-200 in 2008, registered as 5N-MAD from Kabo Air on a lease mainly for Hajj charters. The livery features a similar style to Northwest Airlines Bowling shoe with the inclusion of the airline’s name and logo in both English and Bengali across the front of the fuselage and the aircraft tail, as this aircraft was also operated by Northwest Airlines from 1986 up until 2007. Biman Bangladesh Airlines later retired the aircraft in 2011 as it was returned to the lessor.
