:round_pushpin: Airport Name and ICAO/IATA Code
Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI/WBKK)

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Location (City, Country)
Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

:chart_increasing: Airport Type & Size
Gateway to northern Borneo from East Asia (HKG, CTS, SZX, etc).

:vertical_traffic_light: Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
It’s the second hub of Malaysia’s national carrier, Malaysia Airlines (MH/MAS) and its subsidiary Firefly (FY/FFM). Although only one runway is playable (RWY02), it offers great connectivity across ASEAN and East Asia region. Not to mention it’s beautiful scenery of fishing villages on approach RWY02!

:airplane_departure: Major Airlines & Routes
Airlines: Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Batik Air, AirBorneo, Firefly, Scoot, Juneyaoair, etc..
Routes: KUL, PEN, HKG, SZX, CTS, etc..

:world_map: Unique Features or Challenges
Unique features: Fishing villages near airport, and a viewing place at the end of RWY20.

Challenges: I don’t think there are any challenges (please correct me if I’m wrong).
