True. So I hope that IAD is rework before BKK is released

Would also be nice if NGO was reworked but sounds like that’s not gonna happen

That’s if they can reach there, looked from SYD and answer is no until XLR has been released.

Hey all, just want to throw in the fact that the version shown on the screen is 2.5.0, which means that this is probably one of the next updates. It doesn’t appear to be fully complete yet, as jetbridges appear incomplete, but it is ingame and as one of the next updates, so my personal guess is we are 3 ish months out. (Don’t take this as fact, merely a guess)

Never saw that, sort of gives us a timeframe for the update

My other thing i would add is that although bkk is 22nm too far for M connections to SYD, it doesn’t feel totally impossible that they could get a tiny range increase to be able to fly it. What do you guys think?

I think they should, same situation with A380s landing at SXM, not too much of an ask

The image is blurry but looks like BKK

No need to constantly be making new topics, it really clutters up the feed fam. Also we already have a discussion open regarding it and by as much confirmation, someone already made a BKK pre-release thread. Make sure to check the active feed first.

I do agree with you, 100%. The poor execution of IAD is a big reason why I don’t play it. It doesn’t have the level of visual detail or the accuracy to make it feel like a recreation of IAD. The lines are too straight. The planes don’t park in perfect parallel IRL. The gates aren’t evenly spaced cookie cutters in the B concourse. The United Express Gates only have 18 stands in game – at least a dozen are missing. And those are just a few of the most obvious ones. It’s a frustrating airport to play imo as it just doesn’t feel anywhere close to the real thing whereas other airports are modeled and executed well enough to suspend my disbelief.

I’m also hoping for more reasons to play airports being added beyond completing them or growing the ever growing SP and Wollar stockpiles haha. At most airports I have little reason to play them anymore so I rarely open them. They teased alliances several dev blogs ago, and challenges have been teased in the discord by Kuba multiple times. I hope more of these things get priority. New airports are great. But, new gameplay is even better!

To give everyone an idea

SXM - released Mid July 23
LHR - released Dec 23
SYD - released late July 23.

I know where my money is at on a timeline here. There are 6 dot releases available too between now and 2.5, so will be interesting to see how many of those are used

Indeed using B772, though not in the game so could use the B77W instead.

I personally feel there is not enough data to establish a trend, especially given previous dev comments about release goals and that this airport should take less time to program due to having simpler taxiing. And if trends are something you are considering, note that there has never been anything past 2.x.7.

Unless XLR comes out same time, I can’t see their being extension for our fleet aircraft.

. Thats the A321LR from SYD.

I don’t think range gets tweaked, but I still really want to see the ability to have complete configuration control in both S and M planes, which would give us the range to reach BKK from SYD.

Just noticed it’s got range on there, which for A321LR should be 4000nmi.

757 can reach shanghai from sydney so its definetly possible for M connections

What? The 757 cannot reach Shanghai from SYD.

It does have the most range (for player planes) of any other aircraft, but cannot reach BKK.

I meant to say shenzhen, or hong kong and my point is, if it can reach china it can definetly reach bankok

No it can’t. Bangkok is farther than shenzhen
