These days the new update has came out, but I am struggling to decide whether to kept on grinding LHR or unlock BKK. Since these two airports required the same amount of GPs. The airport I am looking for is has the most amount of L and X stands. So which is better?
Pure L and X stands, LHR is better. Since X stands are a pretty bit higher in LHR.
Cargo wise BKK is better.
BKK can connect with every airport, apart from INN and SXM. So if you want connections with SYD, you can.
BKK has 3 landing runways, while LHR has 1 landing.
Crew wise LHR is a bit higher, but imo there’s plenty at both.
So make of that what you will

I use my LHR to build up silver airplanes to then revert to gold. So that gives me a bit of extra cash when I need to it start expanding my BKK.
So essentially, LHR is just a bank to grow and then use the silver airplanes to grow and expand BKK

I think the question is, if you don’t buy BKK, can you finish LHR and SYD before wanting to play BKK? I’d say it’s worth the 16GP if you have them, because SYD isn’t an easy grind in my opinion.

Yeah syd isn’t easy especially considering how there isn’t much L stands and so many dhc8’s

I think BKK is a far superior airport for game experience to LHR. especially for grinding SP because of the runway configuration. Landing 3 planes at once is way faster than LHR’s format!

On the L stands did you buy S as well? As I didn’t do that and just kept them L. But it’s the whole experience as you don’t wanna level up so quickly otherwise you complete it and be like next airport please.

I think BKK is way better than LHR in terms of runway efficiency, which indicates the maximum amount of planes you can handle in a certain amount of time.
However, to reach that limit I think you need to buy some ground handling staff in BKK with golden planes, which may not be ideal for many people. I suggest the total number of staff will be lower than that of LHR.

Bkk can land 2.5x what lhr can roughly
To be honest, LHR has more stands , so I agree with Nickdeecee, that LHR should be a bank for BKK

BKK is far better by most metrics, almost entirely due to its triple runway operation.
Yes, LHR has more L and X stands overall. But it is essentially crippled by its single runway for landings, meaning those extra stands will almost never be used. BKK is simply just better at getting more planes in and out.
I’ll do a comparison. I’ve used the same play style at every airport. Playing at a similar rate of time for each, it took me a little less than a month after release to reach regional at LHR. At BKK, I reached it after 5 days.
However, that comparison assumes that your goal is to level up as quick as possible. If you enjoy one airport over the other, play that airport.

Why tho? Looking purely at numbers, bkk is the best
The issues that I’ve run into for playing airports has never been airport stand capacity, but instead runway capacity. Sure LHR has more capacity, but with triple landings, you can get planes in (if you play with bulk handling) or in and out (for full gameplay) far quicker.
