Why should this livery be added?
Bmi operated A330-200 G-WWBD in this livery from its return from lease to South African Airways in January 2004, until it was repainted in January 2007 to the Virgin Nigeria livery, before it returned from that lease to be painted back into this livery in May 2007 and wore it until May 2011 when it was painted into the full livery until retirement in October 2012 and then scrapped at only 12 years old.A second A330-200, G-WWBM, wore the Star Alliance livery from its return from Turkish Airlines on lease, wearing their livery, in March 2011 until bmi was absorbed by British Airways and the aircraft was sold to Thomas Cook who painted it into their blue livery with yellow heart, which it wore until the airlines bankruptcy in 2019 and thus was ultimately scrapped in 2022 at NQY.
It could make for an ace pass livery for an updated future LHR or a future MAN, both airports the livery was based at for much of its life.
