In addition, Embraer has a maintenance facility here, lots of private aircraft companies and facilities and the National Guard has a base here with Blackhawk helicopters.
Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
It has a very interesting layout with 4 runways, one of which intersects another, with a fairly good sized cargo terminal and construction work currently taking place to expand the terminal. It would provide a large airport of more compact size to IAD, with a more interesting layout focused more on low cost services but with all the major US airlines having more than 1 flights in and out.
