Why should this airline be added?
Bonza was formed in October 2021 as an LCC for Australia, being headquartered at Sunshine Coast Airport and operating from Melbourne and Coolangatta Airports as well.

It struggled to compete in the Australian market which has famously been said to only be able to support 2 and a half airlines, that being Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin, or as The Guardian put it ‘victims of neoliberalism and that the airline was both born of, and killed by, the downhill effects of its US-based backers’. The parent company of Bonza was an organisation known as 777 Partners, who are a Miami based Private Equity Firm which owns many European football teams as well as being the previous owners of Flair and owners to the rights of World Airlines, who’s MD-11’s are in-game.

I’m not David but I think they should be in-game as they were a cool alternative to the big 3 airlines of Australia and had a fab livery, whilst utilising a common slang Australian term for its name. It would provide a splash of purple at SYD and at any other airports we get in the region.

I was wondering why the airline wasn’t added to the game, most likely the short lifespan of it, but I think it was a missed opportunity.

if its not special enough to be a special aircraft then whats the point of it being in the game? the airline didnt even survive 1 year.

Imo, special means something cool, something unique. A normal airline, even if short lived, isn’t special. I think old liveries/retro ones and cool unique ones like half of the Japanese liveries, should be defined as special liveries. Bonza also operated one type so it wouldn’t be a massive problem with making it a normal contract airline.
