:vertical_traffic_light: Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
Adds a medium-sized hub in (Northwestern) Europe. Fits in right between a big passenger airport like LHR and small airports like INN and BRI. PRG has more seasonal/charter flights and just one runway in use. Home of Brussels Airlines: the best all-round airline in the world in 2024, according to AirHelp. In summer 2025 68 airlines will operate regular scheduled and charter flights to 180 destinations in Europe, Asia, America and Africa. On top of that a dozen cargo airlines fly to and from Brussels Airport.

:world_map: Unique Features or Challenges
Simple layout with one terminal and three concourses right in between the runways - 07L/25R north of the terminal, 07R/25L south of the terminal and 01/19 east of the terminal. Parallel operations possible without passenger planes having to cross active runways. Separate cargo and military areas on the northern side of the airport. Passenger, cargo and military transport flights share the same runways.
