If I buy an extra colour for a livery, how often can I use it? Is it exclusively for the plane I bought it on, or also applicable on other planes (so a livery on a B738 in my fleet would also be usable on an A332 in my fleet for example)?

Yes, the colour you buy is included in your kind of “library”, that colour belongs to you now. So you can use it on every livery that you own for any other plane.

You can have three colours if you wish too, I have three for mine and all use livery 4.
