Long time player of WOA. I’d like to start by thanking the devs and mods for a fantastic game. My father and I both play it.
I wasn’t sure where to ask this but is there any chance that we can see Canadian Airlines International in the game as a regular playable airline? My father worked for the company until Air Canada took them over in 2001, he’s been with Air Canada since then. So I thought it would be very cool to see Canadian Airlines in the game, especially if Kai Tak is still in the works for the future.
In general the airlines we have as regular playable airlines are current operators or recently shuttered operators (I believe 2011 is what the devs are using as their cutoff right now). I’d love to see a way to allow for more things like this though!
Thank you for the reply! That makes sense. I think it would be very cool to have Canadian Airlines in it due to the connection from my father with the airline and on top of it, WOA already having the 744, 767, A320, 737’s in it, those were some of the airplanes they used! DC10 eventually would be cool too.
If you would like, please do make a suggestion for it, and specify the reason of connection to your father, the connection might be a boosting point for it’s selection!
As you yourself stated, the airline is no more so it will most likely be a event livery
If you wish to, you can give it a vote which increases its chance of being included in the game. I personally love airlines from 2000 until 2015 so it’d be fab to have in-game as a regular. It, Sabena and Ansett are the 3 2001 collapsing airlines I’d love to have as options haha.
