[Cargo] - Different Cargo Types

:placard: Different Cargo Types Instead of Only Metal Cargo Containers

• Animals (e.g. horses)

• Vehicles (cars, machinery)

• Net-secured / pallet cargo

• Standard cargo containers

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?

Currently, all cargo is loaded using the same metal cargo containers. The suggestion is to add different visual cargo types such as animals, vehicles, and net-secured or palletized cargo.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?

Cargo aircraft would receive different cargo types either randomly or based on contracts. The loading process would stay mostly the same, but cargo visuals and loading times could slightly differ depending on the cargo type.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?

Cargo operations would feel more realistic and varied. Aircraft loading would no longer look identical every time, which improves immersion and keeps cargo gameplay interesting for long-term players without adding complex mechanics.

:camera_with_flash: Imagine:

I believe there is to be a freight overhaul coming in the future so I presume it will include new cargo types and bigger pallets for the big aircraft.

hopefully.

Not sure how the devs would feel about it but it would be absolutely superb if they had unique military cargo items, like Helicopters, aircraft parts, Personnel Carriers, Armor, etc.

Beluga too!

I think that’s a good idea too. I like it!

Technically we do have a different type of cargo, its just currently an airport prop instead of an actual function

Would be really cool if we could see the Beluga loading in aircraft parts, as the purpose in real life.

Or also with the AN124 and AN225. Imagine there’s coming out like a huge ship engine or something like that

I changed the title to have [cargo] as its prefix instead of [other].

I would like to see horses and livestock being transported. Also cars, refregirated containers would be nice.

Would be fun seeing Parts of Planes being loaded onto the Antinov heavy lift series.

The possibilities are endless.

i know not technically cargo but would be good to have the AKHs for the A32X fleets implemented. its mainly a European/Canadian scheduled airline thing to have those units. i know US airlines dont use them but forgive me im not sure if others around the world use them.
