- Cargo – for anything related to cargo operations
What is your suggestion?
Evergreen and European Cargo both had more bases than are currently in-game. Starting with Evergreen, they had a good sized base at Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus Ohio, an airport which isn’t in-game but which has 10 active Allegiant flights to Florida from it and many cargo flights from Europe to Anchorage pass through. A second base they had was Indianapolis. Both of these were operated until the cessation of flights in late 2013. The airline also operated flights from both Anchorage and Hong Kong as stopping and refuelling points before continuing their journey. At HKG in particular but partly at Anchorage, they would take on freight and fly it on to its new destination, so it could be like UPS and have a small base at HKG.European Cargo had a base at Cardiff Airport in South Wales, the second base it opened before Teesside early this year. It would put Cardiff on the map, provide Wales with an airport and allow for even more A346F’s at players airports.
How would it work in the game?
Evergreen added as a operator at Indianapolis and Anchorage as well as potentially at Hong Kong. 2 new airports added, Rickenbacker in Columbus for Evergreen and Cardiff in South Wales for European Cargo
Why is this a good idea?
What improvement would this bring? Better usability, realism, fun factor, accessibility?More realism and more accessibility to contracts for players at their airports.
