China Airlines received their 2nd Boeing 747SP in April 1980, registered as B-1880, which features a 1970s/1990s livery colorway which includes a dark red and blue cheat line running along the fuselage with a grey belly and the national flag of Taiwan on the tail. China Airlines leased the aircraft to Mandarin Airlines from 1992 to 1999 and it was later retired from service in July 1999.
