Hey all!
Stoked for the 747 updates! Do we think that since there have been piece deals signed recently that airlines like Yemenia and some Syrian ones may appear in game? I mean Sudan is in a war and we have Badr and Thailand and Cambodia are at war and we have both their flag carriers in the game, UIA obviously for Ukraine but no Russian ones, this one I understand due to no peace yet!

Well we’re now only getting the 747-400 in this update so it’ll be limited to them. I’m guessing the majority will be HKG related or well known airlines and liveries. Syrian might come in the future but I can’t say, however, I doubt we’ll be getting the Yemenia one as it was a VIP only config and it would be an odd one to add considering we don’t have many government planes in-game.
In regards to the other countries, as far as I know Ukrainian Airlines have never operated the 747 in any fashion neither has Sudan or Cambodia and I presume all the Thai 747s will be re-liveried in the update.
War is a touchy subject and there are differences in the conflicts and what the airlines represent in regards to the factions. Badr as far as I know is private which is why it’s in-game, plus I think it was added before the civil war began and flies to MCT. At the end of the day it’ll be down to the devs.
Personally hope we get all RR liveried aircraft like Qantas’ and Cathay’s as well as some now extinct liveries like Northwest. Plus Iberia 744 would be nice to see.
Thanks for the insight info, I’d love to see the Iraqi re liveried and the rest of their fleet expanded! Such a nice livery in my eyes! What other 744 do you think we’ll get?
We’re definitely getting BA, though I wonder which variation of Chatham Dockyard we’ll begetting, silver crown, normal or the earlier variant as part of Utopia with the United Kingdom written on the rear fuselage. We’re also getting Cathay Cargo silver bullet 744F’s though I’m not sure if we’ll be getting the BDSF variant as well. I presume all the current liveries will return as well such as United’s, Delta, JAL, ANA and the such. I reckon we’ll get the special liveried Cathay Pacific’s as well as event liveries and might even get the Green Lettuce livery for retro. I’m guessing we’ll receive the 3 special liveried BA’s, Landor, Negus and BOAC and I hope we get Fiji Airways 744 but aside from that I think it’s going to be a lot of cargo liveries as there aren’t many in-game unlike the pax 744s.
I’d imagine this one, as that’s what all the BA liveries other than Concorde are in game.
One can all but hope, even with the BA 757 we still lack modern BA special liveries, the retros would be a great addition to some extra levels at LHR.
I can’t imagine we won’t get the BA 752 in Chatham Dockyard especially after we got Negus. Not sure if this update but definitely next. Too many 757 liveries out there and BA’s is definitely top 10 well known

British Airways, American Chrome are two must haves for the 757s I’d say, very recognisable liveries.
I’m sure it was, the 747s finished off with the crest on them, I believe it’s been about a decade since they first started adding crests. They’ve recently done another small change to the livery, replacing the Royal Mail logo with the IAG Cargo logo, at least on the recently delivered neos.
When do you guys think we’ll get the remaining 747’s and the 737s?
I’m intrigued now, what aircraft operated with the Royal Mail logo on. I thought they all did but in-game only the 767 and A320 family wear it. Appears irl the E-Jets never have and I can’t find a picture of the 777 with it, though I haven’t looked too hard. Some of the A35K’s wear it though some don’t. Seems strange to me. Agree with American Chrome, should be a regular for the iconic SXM shots.
747’s I believe early next year. 737’s a long way off as there’re loads of variants and liveries to do so it’ll take the devs some time to get them out. When they do come I’m looking forward to the -300,-500/-600s as they’re snazzy fellas. But I’m thinking at the earliest Q3 next year but I’m not the one to say, would prefer to see Mad Dogs first but thats just me
It’s only one one side of the aircraft I believe, I’m not sure of everything’s that’s had it but it’s definitely been a thing for a while on the A320 family.
Yeah you’re correct there never knew it was only on the port side. All aircraft wear it in the mainline fleet so that explains it not being on the E190/175 and BAE, though I’ve noticed the A380 in-game is missing it and the A320 family wear it both sides.
Where was it announced that we only get the B744?
I missed that.
Charlie announced it last week due to the scope being too large to deliver satisfactorily by Christmas.
