Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 1990 as a flag carrier for the State of Chiapas in Mexico, this airline went through a host of different aircraft during its Regional and then Mexico-wide phase, finally settling on 737-200s in 2002, replacing the 727s they were operating at the time and allowing the airline to expand into the USA. They then took delivery of 3 737-300s in 2006 to help the airline with routes into the USA such as to Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and Houston. In 2007, due to massive competition with InterJet, VivaAerobus and Volaris, the airline switched its operations to that of a Low Cost Carrier. In July 2009, the Mexican government suspended the airlines operations due to unpaid debts. The airline had plans to relaunch with its aircraft being maintained up until mid-2011, however it ended up collapsing in the May of that year. It would be an excellent airline to see in full-service with their 31 737-200s being maintained and scheduled to re-enter service in the 2010s, also bringing a piece of Mexican aviation history into the game for players to operate to their airports.
