ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – Following the successful completion of our operations at London Heathrow, the Executive Office of Zurich Airways is pleased to announce our formal transition to the United States.
Our gates at Washington Dulles (IAD) are now officially open to the public.
The Single-Hub Commitment
At Zurich Airways, we prioritize the quality of our turnarounds over the quantity of our connections. To ensure our partners receive our undivided operational focus, we follow a strict Single-Hub Strategy. By closing our public operations at LHR, we are now able to dedicate our full resources and staff to maintaining IAD as the premier gateway in our network.
This hub has reached 100% operational maturity, with every real-world contract secured and active. Now we are ready for the next step: Establishing connections with the broader community!
Connection Standards
To maintain a balanced and efficient tarmac, we have established the following guidelines for our partnership network:
- Capacity: We welcome one (1) aircraft per partner, per origin airport.
- Traffic Flow: We are fully operational for both Inbound and Outbound connections.
- Reliability: We seek partners who value consistent scheduling to match our high-frequency environment.
