Founded in August 2013 by Air China & the Inner Mongolia State-owned Capital Management Co., Ltd, Air China Inner Mongolia was a Chinese regional airline with the airline commencing operations in January 2014, receiving its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-700 with it’s maiden flight from Hohhot Baita International Airport, its operation base and hub, to Beijing Capital International Airport. The airline would go on to receive it’s first Boeing 737-800 in May that same year.

Air China Inner Mongolia would operate a fleet of 10 Boeing 737s, consisting of 9 737-800 and 1 737-700, with all of the aircraft’s being provided by Air China to 19 destinations in China like Beijing Capital, Chifeng, Changsha Huanghua, Haikou, Wuhan, and Xiamen.

The airline would cease operations in October 2025, with Air China Inner Mongolia fleet and routes being fully integrated into being re-integrated into Air China.
