:vertical_traffic_light: Why should this airport be added to World of Airports?
This airport adds a really good connection point between major hubs where players can send planes, like from Sydney to go to Hong kong, Bankok or Nagoya. This airport would serve a good hub for players wanting to do small-sized aircraft connections between Sydney and Cairns and Cairns to Hong Kong. Currently, the smallest aircraft to fly connections to Sydney is the Airbus A21XLR to Hong Kong or Bangkok. With cairns, we can have small Fokker 100, DHC-8s, Q400 and smaller aircraft size B and C to be able to have more variety.

Also, is the home of one of the last 2 Short Belfast’s (Other on Display at the RAF museum in Cosford). Currently in the process of being made flyable again too so it would add a really unique type with the airport.

I think that we actually need another airport in Australia/Oceania especially one in that location, It will be a very intresting and good Hub working like a Bridge connecting Asia to Oceania.

CNS connection (flight connection)
