65 of these were operated by Continental Airline from 1985 until January 2010 when the last were withdrawn from service as the airline merged into United Airlines. They were a major part of the airline’s short haul fleet and were gradually being phased out as new 737-900’s and more 737-800’s were delivered to the airline, though they were very quickly retired from 2008 and United taking over the airline.They’d make for a nice addition to US airports and SXM, giving players another type to operate alongside the 737-500/-700/-800/-900 if they are also added in the 737 remodel.
