I’m going to link this and close the thread. It’s not up for discussion. As much as I know there are people from all around the world who all hold opposing beliefs and opinions, the final decision lies with the developers who made the decision in 2022 and have stood by it.
There are many other examples you can quote, I personally am very up to date on Geopolitics as I’ve always found it fascinating and thus it’s a sort of hobby for me and I know of many reasons why X, Y and Z are this and that, but that’s irrelevant when its the decision the developers of the game have made. The vast majority of this fantastic community know of their opposing beliefs but still aim to get on and enjoy the game as it currently is.
