Hello all I am finding configuring my aircraft a bit confusing ,is a case if just maxing the first class until I see the most profit and forgetting about business class.?
It’s not, there’s a lot of math for optimizing it. Best way is to join the discord, there’s a channel devoted to finding optimal stuff. Spreadsheets for config etc

To answer your question so you aren’t being sent to other places for an answer, the best way to deal with demand is adjust both business and first class until you get either the highest profit or the configuration you are happy with, as the configuration of the aircraft will also have an influence on the aircraft’s maximum range.
My advice would be to always have more business class than first class, as demand for business class will always be higher than that of first class. The only case of first class outweighing the number of business class seats I’ve seen used is the A380 if you want to use them on some of the really long flights like MCT to SYD.
If you want a couple of configurations to work with, I’ll drop a few of mine here.
B788 & B789 I use 4 first, 18 business and the rest economy. For B77Ws and B744s I use 8 first and 28 business. These configurations, whilst not earning the highest profit of the lot they are pretty close. I normally use a standard configuration for each aircraft type I use as it’s easier for me to remember, plus you know it’ll work as you use it all the time.
On the going to Discord note, if you go onto the games main menu, there’s a bunch of icons below the Woapedia count, it’s the mask looking icon on the left which is under the follow us heading.

This is true, the problem is that the predicted profit is useless. It NEVER correlates with the actual profit, so guess and check doesn’t work. Also, different routes on the same plane can have different best configs

To be fair everyone will have their own way of doing things, be it a standard configuration for all aircraft or chasing after every Wollar in profit (although like you say the predicted profit is useless as it doesn’t correlate to actual flight revenue).

Thank you very much you have been very helpful….any other configurations you care to share would I find very useful. Particularly with some M aircraft. Also I am unable to join the discord from in game I get an error message

Tbh I usually on Ms go for around 7 rows of business (14 seats) then the rest economy (as long as it’s even) just as it’s more realistic.
