How to coop with large airports like IAD?
It has so many ramps to build! 
But still very satisfying
As with any other airport, start out by making use of the free Local and discounted Regional contract offers. They have short turnarounds so they’ll be in and out quickly and you’ll gain wollars and exp faster.

This is just my method, but it should work for you:
But contracts for planes like 757/A321Neo/A321NX/A321, they can give you pretty nice amount of money and still fit on M size!
Also you should invest in few L stands and L contracts, i like 787 and A359/K because they handle fast, but always this is just your decision
Good option is to buy you own planes like 737-800 and sending them to SAN and SXM.
Or in larges good idea is 77W
I personalny never played much on IAD, but it works perfect for few airports I finished.
