Destination Runway Display Errors

Description of the Bug:
Pointe-Noire, Congo (PNR) is shown to have a runway of 2600m by the game. However, aircraft requiring a longer runway, such as A332F and A333P2F with 2770m, and B762F with 2700m, as well as B763F with 2850m, can all be sent to this destination.

Further, for map contracts, all available aircraft types at a destination only appear if their runway requirement is under the runway length of the destination, though they do not adhere to the demand of the destination. From Bangkok (BKK), Thai Airways offers B789 (2800m), B772 (2900m), B744 (3190m), as well as B744BCF (3190m). B788 and A359 are not relevant as they match the 2600m requirement of the runway.

Both the fleet destination and airline destination behaviours suggest the runway of PNR is longer than the 2600m as displayed by the game. Note that Thai Airways also operates the B77W (3230m) but this is not an option at PNR. The actual runway distance can therefore be concluded to be between 3190m and 3230m, and it is reasonable to presume the actual length is 3200m.

The displayed length matches the information given by GCM, so the actual length should just be changed to the displayed length.

Steps to Reproduce:

For fleet aircraft:

  1. Enter an airport which allows an aircraft requiring runway longer than the displayed length of PNR, but has sufficient demand to be allowed to be sent.
Aircraft Runway (m) Playble Airports
A332F 2770 BRI, PRG, MCT, LEJ, LHR, GRU
A333P2F 2770 BRI, PRG, MCT, LEJ, LHR, GRU
B762F 2700 INN, BRI, PRG, MCT, LEJ, SXM, LHR, GRU, SCL, CNN
B763F 2850 INN, BRI, PRG, MCT, LEJ, LHR, GRU, CNN
  1. Purchase a fleet aircraft of the 4 types above. Land the aircraft and open the map to assign the contract.
  2. Observe that PNR is a destination option, and can be assigned this route.

For map contracts:

  1. Enter an airport where the hubbed airlines operate class D & E aircraft which require more than 2600m of runway, but less than 3200m. This includes B762, B762F, A332, A332F, A332P2F, A333, A333P2F, A338, A339, B789, B78X, A30BF, B763, B763F, B772, B77L, B77LF, A343, MD11, MD11F, B744, B744BCF, and B744F, in ascending runway length.

For the sake of convenience, the following table shows the list of airports with hubbed airlines which operate at least one of the aircraft above:

Airport Airlines
INN Austrian
BRI Air Italy, Alitalia, ITA Airways, Neos
IAD Delta, National Airlines, United
NGO ANA, JAL, Nippon Cargo
SAN American, Delta, National Airlines, United
MCT Oman Air
LEJ Condor, AeroLogic, DHL, Discover Airlines
LHR British Airways, British Midland, Virgin Atlantic
SYD Qantas, Qantas Freight
BKK K-Mile, Thai Airways
MSY American, National Airlines
GRU Azul, LATAM Brasil, LATAM Cargo Brasil
SCL LATAM Cargo Chile, LATAM Chile
HKG Air Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines
  1. Go to the contracts map and select PNR to view the contract options.
  2. Notice that the above aircraft are available as an option at this destination. Checking their runway length in the “Info” tab shows they need runway far longer than 2600m.

Screenshots or Videos (if available):

On the reference destination map, despite B763F requiring 2850m runway, there is no alert appearing next to the “Runway” attribute, and the destination itself is not shown in red as unavailable.

There are no checks for the actual runway distance when sending a supposedly unfeasible aircraft to the destination.

B789, B772, B744 and B744BCF all require runway lengths longer than that of PNR but are still available as contract options.

Additional Notes:
Thanks to RadiantKitty95/RK Airways for bringing this issue up for investigation

We will check it.

Following this up - Tenerife North (TFN) also doesn’t have the same runway length as displayed. For instance A21NY requires 2400m of runway but is not allowed to be sent to the airport with 3200m of runway.
