Dev Chat September 2024

Yes, I corrected that in a later post. Sorry for the mistaken impression!

Absolutely not, unnecessary clutter with nothing to discuss and AMS easily a year or more away.

Not usable. It’s a background model. This would be actually playable

Ok, good to know. Ui was assumed given dev chat to be with IAD, presumably in 2.6. Is that correct?

Do the devs ever publish official roadmaps? If so, where can I find them?

No they don’t and nor should they. People make WAY too many assumptions and things change all the time. They will never do that

That makes sense. Thanks!

São Paulo/Guarulhos planned?! Now you are talking my language!!! Let’s goooooo!

How will business jets work, like a random contract?

Don’t get why need it really you never have the classic banking landing into it and it’s shut, so bit pointless really, rather play with modern airports as of 2024.

Guessing it only be 777-9 as no one knows what 777-8 looks like yet. Also will it be held till first B7779 is fully painted?

Yes got 18 on order with 24 options.

And hear your proof. https://www.iairgroup.com/press-releases/2019/boeing-777-9-order-for-british-airways/

In the end they did not confirm if the one in South America would be the Santiago de Chile airport, they only said that it will be one there, well let’s wait and see what happens.

They said SĂŁo Paulo-Guarulhos.

They mentioned GRU. But it’s not confirmed yet

It would make sense for it to be GRU, it has many connections to international destinations, well we just have to wait and see what happens in the end.

So Yellowknife is coming soon? And in partnership with Buffalo Airways.

If you’re right about Yellowknife it would be cool to see a Canadian airport in game but I would have rather it be Vancouver instead. Or we could get Vancouver in the future which would allow for more connections to Yellowknife but idk
